WeBloom began in August 2018 as a way to help woman live fuller, happier, more
meaningful lives—through healthy eating and fitness. Because we believe that every
one of us is capable and worthy of showing up and being a light.
What you should know: We believe in balancing health and happiness.
We started this blog in 2018 to share that balance, because we know that before you
achieve balance for yourself, it can appear to be some dreamy mansion you only
wish you could afford. Over the years we’ve learned that pushing our bodies through
intense physical fitness makes us better in every aspect of my life – career,
relationships, spirituality and mental health.
Health and fitness should be part of your life — it shouldn’t dominate it.
Nutrition is about eating well, simple. Not dieting. Not avoiding foods (because that
leads to obsessive, disordered, and binge eating habits). Not feeling guilty when you
indulge in your favorite dessert (or pizza, or whatever you love).
Health and fitness is not about “earning your food” or punishing yourself for eating.
It’s about moving your body in ways you enjoy — getting stronger, and becoming
more awesome. This journey should allow you to build a body you feel great
occupying, and making sure you create habits so you can maintain that better-
looking body long-term.
We love creating healthy meals and experimenting with new foods and flavours. Our
recipes are health focused but living a balanced life means indulging in our
favourites treats too!
